I created this screenshot from my weatherbug before noon. It is now 12:20 PM and we are at 97.4 degrees F with a Heat Index of 113 degrees. Here I sit ~ shiverin' in my office ~ afraid to go out and warm up for fear I won't be able to breathe in the HEAT and HUMIDITY!
Some relief! Please! Off to get a sandwich or a salad or something from the Deli, in the building, with no need to leave the premises!

yikes. I don't have anything more to say. Just yikes. i recall lots of 90+ days, but I don't recall such a high heat index. perhaps we just didn't have heat index in those days?
