My son came in today and wondered how he missed an 8 foot tall sunflower in the garden (he's 6'3") -- ummm... perhaps because, at almost 17 yo, you don't see anything you don't want to see? Or perhaps because the flower only opened in the last couple of days! :)

They are beautiful! So nice to be able see some bright and beautiful faces again this year. Perhaps next year I'll have my mojo back.
